In a bid to rid the state of illegal crude oil merchants, the Nigerian Army in River state, setup a task force to stop the practice.
That a truck belonging to crude oil thieves was destroyed by men of the 2nd Brigade, Nigeria Army Garrison, Port-Harcourt.
The commander 2nd Brigade, Nigeria Army Garrison, Port-Harcourt, Lt. Col. Timothy Opurum supervised the operation.
