Dora represents the spirit of Anambra

                                                       
 Prof Kate Omenugha, Anambra Education Commissioner stated "when I was preparing to come to the event and was wearing this cloth, one of the village women came to me and said “Dora, Akunyilianyi”, I asked her what she meant and the very local woman went on and on to say things about Dora Akunyili. Most importantly, she said “if not for the NAFDAC number she gave us”, when I asked what she meant, she said that whenever she wanted to drink sachet water, she looked out for the NAFDAC number.
  That is how much Dora has actually gotten down to the grassroots. No mater what we say , the thing I want to keep asking is, if I die today, what is going to happen? That is what I keep asking myself. I want to thank His Excellency for feeling the pulse of the people. Just like somebody has suggested, maybe we can even do this every year so that people would have a rethink about how they can face public administration, how they can work for the public. That is, what they will want to do. And then, I want in a special way to tell us that Dora represents for Nigeria, for all of us, that spirit of Anambra. That Spirit of excellence we look for in Anambra. That spirit that Governor Willie Obiano keeps calling on us to come and lift the spirit of Anambra state we love.
  That's what she represents. And each time the bulldozers pull down the dens of armed robbers and kidnappers in the state, that is the spirit of Anambra. Each time we look at the education sector and see how they close down all those schools that are misleading our children by encouraging examination malpractice, that is the spirit of Anambra which Dora Akunyili represents.
