Senate goes on holiday again, to resume September 29

Nigeria’s Senate has once again gone on vacation after resuming on July 28, 2015.

The adjournment of the upper legislative chamber was announced by the National Assembly on Thursday, August 13, 2015, via Twitter.

“The #Senate has adjourned sitting to reconvene on September 29, 2015,” the tweet read.

Both the Senate and House of Representatives had earlier adjourned on June 25 after being inaugurated on June 9.
