Ohaneze charges buhari on quick completion of second niger bridge-

                                                 
Leadership of Ohaneze Ndigbo, Anambra State chapter has called on President Muhammadu Buhari, to ensure quick completion of the second Niger bridge project, even as they cautioned on the rumors of stalling the project.

The Chairman of the pan- Igbo socio- cultural group, Elder Chris Eluemunor, who stated this while  addressing journalists at Onitsha, on the speculation that the project had been abandoned indefinitely, said that the bridge was of primary importance not only to the Southern Nigeria but the entire nation.

He stated that there was no way the all important project could be stalled judging from the strategic and socio-economic role it will play in Nigeria.

His words “Why would anybody try to stop the project. Any government that tries it is already an enemy of Ndigbo”.

He noted that the bridge will assist the existing one and enable travelers from the west and north and elsewhere to get to their destinations without much hindrance.

Elder Eluemunor observed the Obasanjo’s administration was adamant to the project when he misinformed Nigerians that the project had started.

While urging Buhari to ensure quick completion of the project, he however said that his administration could review the contract.
