In the past few months, there has been an increase in the cases of domestic violence, so much that many, women especially, have lost their lives. Some men too have been sent to their graves by wives who always claim self defense in such situations.

Recently, two top Nollywood stars whose marriages collapsed in recent times came out to declare that they decided to leave such marriages because their husbands had turned them into punching bags.
