His Lordship Most Paulinus Ezeokafor is an award winning journalist in Anambra state. He won the first ever award by a social media forum Media Practitioners Only (MPO).

By this feat Bishop Ezeokafor has commended him and charged journalists to discharge their responsibilities effectively without fear or favour.
Bishop Ezeokafor who gave the charge at St. Patrick's Catholic Cathedral, Awka while congratulating his media Aide, Mr. Abuchi Onwumelu who was recently honoured by social media journalists for his creative ingenuity and also for creating a Social media forum where media Practitioners interact and socialise, said journalists as purveyors of information occupy an important position in society and held the key to projecting rightful information that would enable the people to see things in the right perspective.
He said the Church would continue to support media practitioners with prayers stressing that the job of the media was to disseminate accurate information while calling on government at all levels to allow the media to practice their profession without any form of molestation, inducement or even threat to life.
According to Bishop Ezeokafor, ' Media practitioners should be given a free hand to operate; people should stop harassing them. They  should be encouraged. Truly, journalists are endangered species. I want those in political positions to understand that they cannot do without the media. Even the Church cannot function properly without the media, that's why we are here praying for them,' Bishop Ezeokafor said.
Abuchi was honoured during the second physical meeting of the MPO Members held at Crystal Spring Hotel Awka .
It would be recalled that the maiden physical meeting held at Fides Communications complex.
That story went thus -------------A group of Anambra-based journalists under the auspices of  Media Practitioners Only (MPO)  was on Monday 16 Fabruary 2015  held its maiden  physical meeting since its inception in November, last year.
The meeting which were mainly for practicing journalists who are Watsapp subscribers was held at Fides communication headquarters, Okpuno, Awka South LGA and have members drawn from all media houses in and outside the state.
In his address of welcome, the Director of Fides Newspaper, Very Rev. Msgr. Jerome Madueke, said it only takes few committed minds to enthrone the needed changes in a society and urged the members to maintain the tempo.
Earlier in a remark,  the convener and the Editor -in-chief of Fides Newspaper, Hon. Jude Atupulazi expressed satisfaction over the turn-out of members at the meeting even as he  maintained that the more playful a person is the more longevity he enjoys.
He enjoined people not to be too serious with life but to always map out time and socialize with colleagues.
For his part, the Director of News and Current Affairs of the Anambra Broadcasting Service, (ABS) described the get-together as worthwhile and a great opportunity for members to see and know themselves in order to interact and move the profession forward.
He expressed optimism that . soon the world around Anambra would know what MPO really is.
In an opening speech, the initiator and administrator of the page, the Chief press secretary to the Catholic Bishop of Awka Diocese, His Lordship Most Rev. Paulinus Ezeokafor, Mr. Abuchi Onwumelu said the page was a relaxation centre for journalists across the State noting that the group page was opened on the Watsapp for the media practitioners in the state to socially interact and share their daily professional experiences as well as proffer solutions to pertinent issues bothering them.
Mr. Onwumelu said it aimed at bringing all the media practitioners in the State under one roof where they could work towards improving the journalism profession as well contribute to nation building adding that the forum have over one hundred journalists as members .

Odogwu Emeka Odogwu ( Blogger/ Treasurer NUJ Anambra State Council); Chief Emmanuel Uzor ( Sun Newspapers/ Secretary Correspindents' Chapel); Mr. Chris Obileri (Purity FM Awka); Mrs. Chinelo Ude-Akpeh ( NTA); Mrs. Uche Amunike ( Asst. Editor Fides) ; Mr. David Eleke ( Blogger/ Hall Mark Newspaper); Mr. Peter Okolie (NAN) ; Mr. Raymond Ozoji ( The Union Newspapers); Mr. Patrick Anaso ( NAN) ; Mr. Ogemdi Ozoemenam ( Odenigbo FM).
Others were Mr. Emeka Onwudinjo (Campus reporter Sun Newspapers); Mr. Bright Ikechukwu Nnachi ( ABS); Miss Mercy Uchechukwu Enem ( Fides).
Refreshment, jokes as well as group photograph formed the highpoint of the meeting.
