BuhariPresident says his visit to US will strengthen ties between two countrie

Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari has said that his impending visit to the United States of America will
strengthen ties between the two countries.
Buhari also expressed optimism that his meeting with US President, Barack Obama would boost Nigeria’s fight against terrorism.

The President made the comments on Wednesday, July 8, 2015, during a meeting with the United States Deputy Secretary of State, Anthony J. Blinken.

Blinken, speaking on behalf of Obama, expressed his sympathy over the recent spate of terror attacks in Nigeria.

The Nigerian President is set to visit Obama in Washington on July 20.
