In a recent report titled: ‘US-Nigeria Security Cooperation 2009-2015,’ a United States-based public research agency, highlighted the various reasons military aid dropped during Goodluck Jonathan's tenure.
The Centre for International Policy, through its project, the Security Assistance Monitor, said “US military and police aids to Nigeria from 2009 to 2015, and reported a sharp drop in aids from 2012 to 2015.”
The Senior Research Associate for the Security Assistance Monitor, Mr. Colby Goodman also said that “The infographic also describes some of the key corruption and human rights issues President Muhammadu Buhari could address to help improve the US-Nigeria security relationship.”
