Tension as OCHA Brigade disengages all sand beech, burrow pit excavation and stone mining pits

The operation Clean and Healthy Anambra “OCHA Brigade”, has disengaged all the agents in sand bitch,
stone mining and borrow pit excavation sites in the state for diverting government revenue.
Correspondent Gab Alokwe reports that while handing over the disengagement letters to the agents in his office in Awka, the Chairman and Managing Director of the agencies Chief Okonkwo expressed determination to carry out every decision of the State government without fear or favour.

He said that the state government will deal with anyone caught diverting government fund and urged those that want to work as agents to apply for consideration.
Chief Okonkwo revealed that the state government has decided to engage the services a consultant who will help to manage the stone mining and borrow bit exaction sites in the State and called for co-operation from the citizenry in order to move the state forward.
Similarly, Chief Okonkwo also received members of all  Tippers association, Anambra state Chapter in his office where he reminded them of the need to continue to pay the required levies as well as comply with government directives.

Speaking on behalf of the members, the Chairman of the association, Mr. Dozie Ogechukwu, while pledging their unanimous support to the State Government, of some individuals who divert government revenue into private pockets and promised that they would co-operate with government in revenue generation.
