The Deputy Governor of Anambra State, Dr. Nkem Okeke, has identified Nigeria’s problems as man made.
The deputy governor who made this notification during the second session of the seventh synod of Saint. Peter's Anglican, Church, Okija, titled, 'Thy Kingdom Come', stressed that why people were still facing challenges in the country was because of their selfish desires.
Dr. Okeke who represented the state government stated the need for Nigerians to seek the kingdom of God as what would help to bring change and transform the minds of the people to God.
Dr. Okeke urged Christians to always follow the teaching of their creator so that God's peace would reign
He also assured all the faithful of Gov. Willie Obiano's readiness to move the State forward.
Earlier, Most Revd Godwin Okpala, noted that the Pentecost University which the church is constructing is also a way to bring development and education down to the grassroot.
In a sermon, the synod preacher, Ven. John Anene lamented that why prayers are not answered today was because believers pray for selfish reasons adding that prayer is very important in every human race and one cannot divorce prayer from spirituality which according to him is not negotiable.
