Modern tech in universities

About 50 universities in the country are now hooked to the Covenant University's mobile learning device

platform.Prof. Charles  Vice-Chancellor of the institution, who disclosed this in Ota at a conference with the theme: “ Building Thriving Tertiary Institution Using Technology, said that the mobile learning tablet would provide students with the right skills to meet up with their counterparts in developed countries in all areas of learning.

  Attributing  the poor quality of education in Nigeria to the decay in infrastructure , Ayo emphasised that the strength of any nation depended on the quality of its education.

  Speaking at the conference which was organised to inspire, educate and connect leaders from selected universities on application of modern technology in the education sector, to improve service delivery, Yomi Adedeji, Managing Partner, Softcom Limited said, "education had gone beyond conventional learning as students across the globe now use modern technology to access vital information and interact among themselves.”
