Gombe motor park blast‘s masterminds arrested

Soldiers on internal security operations in Gombe State have arrested those suspected to be masterminds of
bombing of the state transport service last year.
The two suspects were arrested after a shoutout with soldiers who were on patrol in the area.
A statement by the Defence Head Quarters(DHQ) said the suspects who are high profile terrorists, were picked up following surveillance and intelligence operations that tracked them to a check-point at Bajoga area of the state.
The statement signed by the Director, Defence information, Major-General Chris Olukolade, said one of the suspects, who was injured during the encounter, is being treated at a military medical centre even as it investigates the matter.
