Enugu Govt set to improve security …announces distress call number

ENUGU State Commissioner of  Police, Abubakar Adamu Mohammed has directed for the immediate take-off of Unity Police Division with its headquarter at Iyioku Ibagwa-Nike along Opi-Nsukka- Ugwuogo-Nike road, Enugu East local government area of Enugu state.

 The Police public relations officer, Ebere Amarizu who made this known  said the new division is to cover Ibagwa Nike, Amokpo Nike, Edem Nike, Amoji Nike, Ogbeke Nike, Mbano Nike and Ugwuogo Nike formerly under Abakpa Division of the Enugu State Command.

  ASP Amarizu gave the distress call numbers of the new division as 08033618584 and 08053322333 and reminded members of the public that Enugu Command still maintains its distress call lines of 0803200372, 08075390883 and 08186671202 while its social media platforms are; face book-enugu state police and twitter @enugupolice.Email is [email protected] and urged the public to contact the police when they have security challenges.
