Bishop Okpala wants President Buhari to restore War against Indiscipline (WAI)

www.odogwublog.com reports that the seventh Synod of the Anglican Diocese of Nnewi, has concluded at
Okija, Ihiala local government area with an urge on President Mohammedu Buhari to bring back the War Against Indiscipline, (WAI) which he introduced during his era as a military head of state.
While briefing newsmen on the second day of the synod yesterday, at St. Peter’s Anglican Church Okija, Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State, the Anglican Bishop of Nnewi Diocese, Rt. Revered Professor Godwin Okpala (OON) insisted that WAI policy of President Buhari during his military regime was what is required to sanitize the country of its present corrupt condition.
Bishop Okpala maintained that President Buhari as a disciplined man should inculcate such culture into Nigeria administration system, if he is serious about his corrupt-free country campaigns.
He also advised Mr. President and his teams to avoid temptation of using religion ethnicity or political affiliation to rule the country, admonished the new government to focus on peace, unity, freedom of speech and association as bedrocks on the much desired change as well as tackle corruption headlong.
          Bishop Okpala who spoke extensively on national issues, specifically want the new administration to punish the electoral law offenders, such offences to include ballot box snatching, result manipulating, INEC official who manipulates figure, etc., during the last general election to serve as a deterrent to prospective offenders.
          In a separate briefing, the Anglican Bishop of Ihiala Diocese, toed the line of his colleague, Bishop of Nnewi Diocese, adding that what Nigeria needed at this time is not the resources to settle the huge inherited debts by this present administration, but self-discipline. He maintained that if former president, Goodluck Jonathan was able to discipline himself and team up to 40%, the country would have been the best country so far.
