Anambra: Man dies in brawl over girl friend

THERE was pandemonium in Ihiala, Anambra State, recently as one Okey, the son of one Ogbu Ndi Ogwu

from Umuadobelhe village Eziana, Ihiala town died after he was pushed down by a middle age man (name withheld) from Umuannamehi village, of same town.

  It was gathered that the deceased who worked as a bus loader, popularly known as Agboro, was in a shop where they usually gather to drink local dry gin, as well as buy snuff and cigarette, when the  boy and his girlfriend came in.

  The deceased, was said to have walked up and started talking to the girl, and drew the hand of her brazier, which made the boyfriend angry and he push him. Immediately he was pushed, the deceased, who appeared drunk and had no stamina again, fell down and hit the back of his head on the floor and fainted.

  The people that were there drinking with him,   rushed him to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Ihiala, where he was receiving treatment, until he died the following day.
