8 embarrassing things all adults do

These things are quite embarrassing and most times we don't admit that we do them

Every adult is guilty of doing some things in hope that no one would notice, these things are quite embarrassing and most times we don't admit that we do them (unless you get caught).
Corine Gatti of Beliefnet mentions a few of these embarrassing things, ranging from funny to downright annoying:

1.     The Nod: We all have done the “nod” during a conversation, pretending we actually understand what the other person is talking about. But you know very well, you don’t have a clue.

2.     Texting at Work: Ah, those heavy texters. They always look so suspicious when you walk by their desks and try to hide the phone.

3.     I Can’t See You: Yeah you can. How many times have you brushed by someone and acted like you never saw them in your peripheral vision.

4.     The Elevator: Larry David from “Curb Your Enthusiasm” likes to pound on the elevator button to close the door before anyone else can get in, ending the scene with a facial expression of fake remorse. What a hoot! But you know we all do it.

5.     On the Road: Speeding up so merging traffic can’t get in is a classic. Although, it is really sad that you had plenty of space to let someone in your lane.

6.     Say What?: Maybe they will think you can't hear them. It’s that annoying person you try to avoid, but gravitates to you for some odd reason. Instead of acknowledging them when they call to you in a crowded room, you pretend that you can't hear their voice.

7.     The Wave: Ever waved back at someone and it wasn’t for you? You can pretend to just fix your hair instead, that always works.

8.     Singing: You act like you know the lyrics, but you only know the hook. Ever sing a song only to pretend to know the words?
