Prof Joseph Ahaneku is one year in office.
For the first time since the inception of the University, it was kicked off with farming as the Vice Chancellor and members of his management as well as the members of the Governing council planted yam seedlings exceeding 6,000.
The Vice Chancellor has his own portion comprising of over 2,000 mounds of yam seedlings. He was at the farm yesterday with a female member of the Governing council. He was on inspection and had announced a full farming work today between 4 pm and 6:30 pm to kick off the one year anniversary with activities lined up to mark it.
