Bishop Ezeokafor Commissions Knights of St. John Int'l Enugwu-Ukwu Commandery 545 Hall

www.odogwublog.com reports that the Catholic bishop of Awka Diocese, His Lordship Most Rev.
Paulinus Ezeokafor has commissioned multi-million naira Knights of St. John Int'l Enugwu-Ukwu commandery 545 Temple.
Commissioning the hall, Bishop Ezeokafor reminded them of what the universal Church truly expected from them noting that the Church's singular aim of instituting them was for them to win souls for Christ and also defend the course of Church.
He exhorted them to use the hall  as a meeting point where issues affecting the Church would be discussed and solution proffered. Bishop Ezeokafor urged them to always work for the common good of the people even as he said the Church's stands was for all to make heaven at last.
Bishop Ezeokafor who took his time to commend all those who contributed towards the completion of the magnificent edifice prayed God to replenish their pockets bountiful folds.
In an address of welcome jointly signed by Lt. Patrick U. Okafor for KSJI St. Anthony Commandery and Capt. Sam. U. Ibenegbu (Worthy President) for KSJI St. Anthony Commandery said, ' Enugwu-Ukwu Commandery 545 was founded in the year 2003, the commander started its journey to greatness through the instrumentality and commitment of some ebullient brothers of Knights of St. John Int'l from Enugwu-Ukwu who thought it wise to bring home this pious organization to expand evangelism in the home front.
'Since inception, the Commandery has grown in leaps and bounds both in spiritual and material works in the vineyard.
'Through consistent hard work and selfless financial contributions, the dream of the founders of the Commandery crystallized in erecting the Hall. In all things, we give glory to God for His blessings.
'His Lordship, we wish to thank you very immensely for honouring our invitation to this event as well as appreciate your great works in the Diocese.
'We cannot forget in haste some of your significant exploits in the Diocese since your ascent to the position of the Bishop of Awka Diocese. A recent case in point is the raising of Enugwu- Ukwu to a Deanery status under your ecclesiastical authority . Our appreciation of that singular  gesture is immeasurable as we continue to relish your unbounded oversight and deep rooted interest when it boarders St. Anthony's Parish and the Deanery in general.
'Other visible landmarks occasioned by your hard work are: the ongoing building of Catholic University, Achina, Institution of the All knights Day, Great structural changes and transform taking place in St. Patrick's Cathedral, Awka to mention only a few.
'Also, a careful study of aspiration of priesthood in Enugwu-Ukwu  and the Diocese in general indicates an astronomic rise in the number . It is not for nothing that these developments manifest during your regime but due to your uncommon ways of touching souls in evangelization.
'Your Lordship, we thank you immensely and assure you that with your exquisite method of shepherding, your flock will continue to live together in united spirit.
'Your Lordship, the KSJI Commandery No 545 and Laux 518 Enugwu-Ukwu is sheltered by St. Anthony's Parish . Since 2003 when it was founded , there has been steady close relationship and cooperation . The Commandery is doing as well as it can in attending and participating in all ecclesiastical activities of the Parish as well as contributing in spiritual and material development of the Church,'  they said
The event which started with concelebrated Eucharist Holy Mass attracted men from all walks of human endeavour.
