Saturday’s Poll: Sensitive and non sensitive materials ready in Anambra -------as police says it is ready

Anambra state , the state is charged for the House of Assembly members election.

However, the Independent National Electoral Commission in Anambra State says it has received all the sensitive and non sensitive materials preparatory to this Saturday's state Assembly election in the state.

The Public Relations Officer of the Commission Mr Frank Egbo stated this in an interview with newsmen in Awka.

Mr Egbo explained that the materials were ready for distribution to local government headquarters while the commission awaited for the Police to provide escort for the distribution.

Meanwhile, the Anambra Police State Command has reiterated its readiness to ensure that the upcoming election is hitch free in the state.

The police warned all trouble makers to stay away from the polling units and collation centers.

 Police Public Relations Officer Mr Uche Eze emphasized that the  measures put in place during the presidential polls were intact.

He appealed to parents and guardians to warn their children against engaging in any act capable of causing problem during the exercise.

Mr Eze called on all the eligible voters to come out en masse and exercise their franchise as the police and other security agencies were on top of security situations in the state.
