Exclusive---Breaking News: Tragedy in Anambra as Man murders brother; mother slumps and dies on hearing the news

www.odogwublog.com reports exclusively that Nnaku , Nnokwa community, Idemmili local government area of Anambra state has been deserted, when visited yesterday.
Police is making arrests and nobody wanted to be party to that. Nobody too is speaking.

There was a double tragedy in the community as a 38 years old man Mr Christian Nwokike Wednesday night murdered by his younger brother during a scuffle over ownership of a family building or land allegedly.

They are four or three brothers from the same mother but three or two were against one, the eldest allegedly in support of their mother, Mrs Nwokike. There is a conflicting report on what happened and he it happened but two people are dead in one family over conspiracy caused by greed.

Meanwhile ,the traditional ruler of Nnokwa  Igwe Emmanuel E. Ajamma;Oranyelu IV of Nnokwa and the President General Hon Sir Eugene Ezekwem could not be reached as at press time for comments on the dastardly act in their community.

Nnokwa is located in Idemili south local government of Anambra state of Nigeria and is bounded in the east by Adazi-Ani and Ichida, in west by Nnobi, in the south by Awka-etiti and in the north by Alor.This is the only town that distinguished from these neighboring towns by belonging to Nri hegemony.

Nnokwa is seen as a man by its inhabitants and he has three kids viz Nnaku,  Etiti and Ifite. With the  blessings of almighty God, three sons of Nnokwa today has given birth and metamorphosed into ten villages viz; Ogonogo, Ozzalla, Isimgbede, Umuide, Abo, Odumodu, Eziama, Umuoshi, Ubili and Umudim which administratively has twenty one (21) wards in all for proper developmental projects.
Nnokwa is an egalitarian society like other communities in igbo land that practices segementatry democracy with the igwe’s cabinet as the superior and final authority.

Invariably,  the administrative organ  of the government is being run by NNOKWA PROGRESS UNION(NPU) in which is conglomeration of all Nnokwa indigenes world wide that has many branches; Aba, Nnewi, Port-Harcourt, Awka, Abakaliki, Lagos, Onitsha, Abuja, Enugu, Calabar, Kaduna, Kano, Umuahia, Canada, USA, South Africa etc.
