Breaking news: APGA begins manhunt of electoral violence offenders as police arrests former lawmaker in Anambra

www.odogwublog.com reports that a former Anambra state House of Assembly, Hon Ikenna Amechi

has been arrested by the Nigerian police allegedly for Political thuggery. He was arrested by 11 am by a team from state CID Awka.

His arrest was allegedly for an attack on the Chairman of Vintage Newspapers by thugs  who were allegedly led by Mr Amechi, based on petition to Commissioner of Police by Godwin Eneghalu and co, solicitors to Moneme.

Amechi and others were accused of attacking and causing grievous bodily injuries on the Vintage Chairman when he tried to rescue an INEC official that was being molested …………
