Forty three ships laden with food
items, petroleum products and other goods
are expected to arrive Lagos ports
from April 13 to April 30.
The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA)
stated this in its daily publication, the ‘Shipping Position’, made available
to newsmen on Tuesday in Lagos.
It said 14 of the expected ships
would sail in with rice, frozen fish, bulk sugar, buckwheat and crude palm oil.
The document indicated that 11 ships would bring diesel, petrol, kerosene, base
oil and bulk gas, while 10 others would arrive with containers.
It explained that six ships would
also sail in with general cargo and two others with vehicles. The document
indicated that 15 ships had arrived the ports waiting to discharge rice, crude
palm oil, general cargo, kerosene, petrol and aviation fuel.
