Attahiru for intervention when the card readers failed.
He was
livid over the late arrival of election materials and failure of card readers,
saying it was too appalling after all the assurances from INEC.

readers were mal functional.
He decided to put a call across
to INEC authorities and following the intervention of Prof Jega, INEC officials
were ordered to use manual accreditation for Anambra state and the message went
round immediately saving the day.
The
Anambra Governor then returned by 2:30 pm and when the card reader failed
again, he was accredited manual then others too.
