YOU ARE A TRUE IGBO MAN ---------U I P C
United Igbo Peoples Congress (U I P C), an Igbo Socio Political Organization in assessment of one year old administration of Gov. Willie Obiano of Anambra State described him as the most unique Igbo man in South-East State governance. U I P C held Gov. Obiano in high esteem as a man with the spirit of Igboism.
In our National Executive Meeting held at Onitsha, we view and review the state of affairs in Igbo land in consonance with the administration of South-East Governors, UIPC arrived at the conclusion that Gov. Willie Obiano of Anambra State ranked highest on the performances of other governors. We specifically praised Gov. Obiano for his eloquent boldness in organizing the long awaited National Burial Ceremony of the Igbo victims of Nigeria –Biafra war of 1967-1970.
UIPC salute the courageous spirit of Anambra State Governor who surmounted all the obstacles, intimidations from enemies of Ndigbo who wanted to thwart the ceremonial freedom of Igbo land.
United Igbo People Congress also appreciates Gov. Willie Obiano on his unflinching and consistent fight against criminals and criminal activities in Anambra State. Anambra residents and visitors can sleep with their two eyes closed, even the dreaded Upper Iweka, Onitsha because of intense criminalities has become the most friendly place in Onitsha with over flowing street light at night and natural beautification of its environment.
Gov. Willie Obiano have performed credibly well in Agricultural Development of Anambra State. He is projecting the state to become the food basket of Igbo land.
Gov. Obiano’s equipment and motivation of security agents in the fight to eradicate crime totally in Anambra State can never be overlooked.
UIPC salutes the former Anambra State Commissioner of Police (Mr. Bala Nassarawa Magaji), the current Commissioner of Police, the officer in charge of Anambra State, Special Anti-robbery Squad, Awkuzu (Chief James Nwafor) for their collective efforts in combating and reducing crime and criminal activities in Anambra State.
