Crime is near to zero in our state now and investors are falling on themselves to invest in the state due to the friendly environment our amiable Governor brought to us."

He reminded the people of Nnewi that "Nnewi people have not been left out in the good wind that is blowing in Anambra state as we now have more representatives in Government than ever before . Akpokuodike has commissioned the following roads in Nnewi, Enem Awka -Etiti roads, Cosharis-Akamili road and two others in Umudim , Nwafor-Orizu Avenue from Eke Amobi to Amechi will soon be commissioned".

Addressing the people of Nnewi, Senior Special Adviser to Governor Willie Obiano on political matters, Owelle Onyeka Mbaso, who is also the chairman of occasion, said that sensitization in politics is the bedrock of all political achievements and the message is fast spreading. I will never let you down.
He noted that with himself at the House of Representatives, nobody will tell their opponents that Ndigbo have arrived. “We are going to have quality representation. We will ensure truth. Anybody who used Ojukwu’s name to win election and later derail will surely be pursued by the land of Ndigbo”.

“When I was commissioner, I had not occupied such a position before. Before then, I was Senior Special Assistant. You learn as you go and you learn from those around you. If you are keen or interested in something, if you will do your best and if you have right experiences in life, you can adapt to new situations. If you are a people-person and a consensus-builder, or if you have the intelligence, you can usually get to do the learning which would be a lot easier. I was once a commissioner, once a sole administrator and now, by the grace of God, going to be a National Assembly member. When I get there, by the grace of God, I think I will do better in every step of the way. I think I will perform better as a National Assembly member”. The senatorial candidate for Anambra South zone Dr. Ernest Ndukwe, the immediate past Executive/Vice Chairman of the Nigeria Communications Commission (NCC) reassured the people of transparent and quality representation in the senate.

His words: “For my people, they should expect a higher quality of representation. I am not sure that the voice of the Anambra people is heard sufficiently in the Senate. It is important that we have the kind of representation that would make the average Anambra person proud”.
“I wasn’t too pleased with the level of representation that Anambra has had so far. Some of them had tried in the past. But in the recent past, we think we needed to up the game a bit; that is why I am offering myself for service because I think I have the background, the boldness and the readiness. I have the spiritual and physical balance to do a good job of a senator,” he said.
Politics, he said, is a call for service to humanity and not what people describe as a dirty game, adding that when responsible people shy away from politics, the society is left at the mercy of those who are not there for the people. It is the activities of such participants that people understudy to call politics a dirty game.
According to him, “It is only when experienced people get into politics that service is appreciated. That is when we can clearly understand that it is not even a game let alone being a dirty game.”
