" Buhari can not fight Boko Haram " -------- Awka South Chairman , Iloh

www.odogwublog.com reports that Chairman of Awka-South Local Government Area of Anambra State , Prince Azubuike Iloh yesterday said that the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate for the March 28, 2015 presidential elections Gen.Mohammadu Buhari can not fight the dreaded Boko Haram insurgents in the North -East of the country , if elected.

Iloh said the APC presidential candidate can not claim ignorance of the terror unleashed by the insurgents on innocent Nigerians and recalled that insurgency began in the country in 2009 under late Yaradua's regime.

He recalled that it was Buhari and his cronies who accused late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua of committing genocide in the North when Federal government was fighting the insurgency.

He said Yar’Adua was accused of killing people in the name of fighting Boko Haram stressing that president Yar’Adua rescinded his decision and left Buhari and his cohorts to call the insurgents to order but to no avail.

Prince Iloh insisted that President Goodluck Jonathan was fighting Boko Haram head-on as a result of the fact that the insurgents have declared war on the nation and the country was equally giving them war.

He added that President Jonathan gave a time-frame that within 6 weeks Boko Haram insurgency would be history in Nigeria and therefore emphasized that " Buhari can not fight Boko Haram because Buhari  is Boko Haram and Boko Haram is B….. " .

According to the Awka-south local government boss Dr.Goodluck Jonathan has more support and popularity than Gen.Mohammadu Buhari in Anambra State due to the fact that president Jonathan has done what his predecessors were unable to do for the country .

Iloh posited that Jonathan has made it possible for work to commence on the Second-Niger bridge and that the Onitsha-Owerri road has equally been delivered through the instrumentality of the incumbent president pointing out that Obasanjo could not deliver the aforesaid road in 8 years of his reign as president of the federal republic of Nigeria .

He also stated that work was on-going on the Onitsha-Enugu express road just as he observed that the Lagos-Shagamu road now wears a new look . Iloh was of the opinion that despite the over 300 billion naira spent by the Obasanjo administration on road construction , there was no practical evidence of federal roads constructed by the Obasanjo administration with the said budgetary allocation .He also observed that the comatose railway lines under successive administrations have been functional again under Jonathan's era pointing out that  Port-Harcourt-Enugu-Kafanshan railway lines, Port-Harcourt-Kano as well as Lagos-Abuja railway lines are all functional at the moment .

According to him president Jonathan has made possible for the Enugu International Airport to be operational as Anambra people and the entire Southeast could henceforth travel round the world via the international airport at Enugu . He said that the president has built over 200 Almajiri schools in the North , built about 12 new federal universities of which 9 of them are located in the North adding that  while others threaten the corporate existence of the nation through inflammatory statements , Jonathan has exhibited uncommon qualities of an exemplary leader in the face of strong opposition .

Iloh further drew attention to the fact that the APC flag-bearer can only fight corruption if he presents his secondary school certificates alleging that the former military head of state forged certificates in his possession even as he emphasized that statement of result is not the same as school certificate. He therefore maintained that during Buhari's era there was nothing like B1, B2, C3,C4 stressing that it was fraudulent for the APC presidential candidate to have gone to the extreme just to protect his political ambition .

The Awka-south council chairman however commended president GoodLuck Jonathan for his steadfastness and outright resolve to flutch out the Boko Haram sects from the Nigerian soil  following the recent commissioning of 4 war-ships as well as the procurement of about 47 jet-fighters and bombers with night vision to equip the Nigerian army in the war against insurgency in the country .

Although he said that the Obasanjo administration spent about 4 trillion naira to address lapses in the Nigerian  army but equally alleged that Obasanjo did not buy a single armed personnel carrier let alone an air force jet pointing out that president Goodluck Jonathan would not perform any magic with a military that was ill-equipped .
