www.odogwublog.com reports that the member
of Board of Trustees, BoT of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA
Chief Rommy Amandi Ezeonwuka warned over 20,000 coalitions
of Igbo youths led
by their commanders who paid him a courtesy visit at his Rojenny Games Village,
Oba, Anambra state, to shun all forms of electoral violence and thuggery.
Ezeonwuka
pleaded with the youths to maintain law and order during the elections, even as
he also directed them to ensure that every Igbo man and woman collected their
Permanent Voters Cards, PVCs to enable them vote for President Goodluck
Jonathan.
He
expressed optimism that APGA would clinch victory in all the contentious seats
in the South East geo-political zone come March 28 and April 11 general
elections in the country.
Addressing
the youths who sought his royal blessing, Ezeonwuka noted that he was sure that
APGA would sweep the polls because of the practical performances of all APGA
elected office holders both in the past and in the present.
Ezeonwuka
who has a chieftaincy title of Ogirishi Igbo, during the presidential election
and then vote for APGA candidates in all the South East Governorship,
Senatorial, House of Representatives and State Houses of Assembly
elections.
Ezeonwuka
who thereafter administered the youths with the Ogirisi blessing, further
directed them to protect APGA at all times as they (the youths) must have
witnessed the rapid transformation programmes APGA has done so far and is still
doing in Anambra State which required to be extended to other states of the
South East zone.
He
commended Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra state who now is currently the APGA
Leader and BoT chairman for his practical demonstration towards rapid
transformation of the state and urged him not to relent in making APGA proud.
He
also called for a massive vote for Chief Victor Umeh, the national chairman of
APGA, to represent Anambra Central Senatorial Zone at least for his ideal
to speak for Ndigbo during the last Constitutional Conference, adding that such
his courageous representation at the confab has qualified him to represent Igbo
interest in the upper legislative chambers in Abuja.
Earlier,
the spokesman of the youths and former National Director of Information of the
Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, Uchenna
Madu had explained that they were in Rojenny to seek Chief Ezeonwuka's
blessing with Ogirisi mystical power to protect Igbo land during the
forthcoming elections against the saboteurs and betrayers of Igbo interest in
the subject of Nigeria.
Madu
said that the youths have sworn to use their positions to protect and
work for APGA as the only party that can lead Ndigbo to the promised land,
adding that they had equally vowed to deal ruthlessly with any politician who
worked against APGA during the elections.
