Group rallies support for Buhari Anambra

The Presidential Candidate of All Progressives Congress, Gen Mohammad Buhari , on Monday received more support in Anambra as a group, Anambra Independent Group for Buhari (AIG4Buhari) called on the people to vote massively for him.

Mr Emeka Asuzu, chairman of the group announced the groups support for the APC presidential candidate at a press conference in Awka on Monday.
Asuzu said that their decision was informed by the need to ensure Anambra people did not lose out in the next political dispensation.
In a statement entitled “Anambra State Must Stand to be Counted in the Change Nigerians Urgently Needs”,  the group said that it was convinced that Buhari presidency would provide the solution to the nation’s security, economic and corruption challenges.
It further noted that Anambra had not benefited much from the massive support it gave to President Goodluck Jonathan in 2011.
“This is time to support a performer to captain the ship of our nation to prosperity and development against the obvious failure under this administration.
“When it come stop security, no one requires extra commentary to know how poor the state of security in the country had destroyed the firmament of business.
“We want Anambra people not to be misled by sentiments and selfish political actors in making their choice between the two major gladiators.
“Our attention to Buhari candidacy is that, at minimum, he has the pedigree to deal with the ever worsening security situation in the country, it will also introduce a new set of people who have the potential to solve the problem.
“If they, Nigerians reserve the right to vote them out in another four years, but to expect Nigerians to live another four years under President Jonathan’s lackluster administration with no plans whatsoever to stop Boko Haram is to be extremely wicked to our people,” he said.
