PDP takes over Obiano’s strongholds , as Tony Nwoye vows to unseat APGA even in Obiano’s constituency
This is because the party has extended its campaign
rally to Anambra West Local Government Area of the state, which is one of the
strong holds of the State governor, Chief Willie Obiano of All Progressive
Grand Alliance (APGA).
www.odogwublog.com reports that the former Chairman of the party in Anambra State, Comrade Tony Nwoye while addressing over 6,000 party loyalists said that PDP remains the only way forward for national transformation and progress even as he added that the transformation agenda of Mr President and its achievements had already made PDP a household choice among Nigerians.
The Oduah Campaign Organisation organised a grassroots political rally in Mmiata Anam of Anambra West Council area as part of activities to sensitize Anambra West people on the need to vote en mass for the PDP in the forthcoming General Elections.
According to Nwoye, ``this laudable reach and touch had made PDP, which is the largest party in Africa, the only viable and household choice among Nigerians. Other bigwigs and political giants of other political parties in the country have to switch allegiance and membership to the PDP.
``Even our own brother, former Gov. Peter Obi, who was formerly the foremost APGA chieftain and national leader, saw this unending progressiveness of the PDP and he had no other choice but to leave APGA with thousands of faithfuls to PDP’’ he said.
Nwoye, who was PDP governorship candidate in the Anambra State gubernatorial election in November 2013, also noted that President Goodluck Jonathan was instrumental to the success of Obi and by extension APGA-led government in Anambra.
He, however, urged the people of Anambra West council to make sure that none of their members vote against the PDP for president, Senate, House of Representatives and State House Assembly.
