Also there is vegetable farming using the discharged water from the fish ponds, all year round. There is also cassava plantation in a large scale.
Bishop Ikeakor did not mince words when he spoke as he reminded that the modest efforts of the Mummy of the diocese, Dame Nkem Ikeakor with women pushed them into commercial farming.
While blessing the frozen section, Ikeakor asked God to take charge so that any chicken bought from the farm should be not only food but a healing and blessed food for the growth and nourishment of human beings. He said the church embarked into Agriculture to provide opportunities in employment to people while evangelising. He added it is their modest efforts of helping government stabilize the society.

The center sells all kinds of poultry products including gizzard. And the manure from the poultry is utilized in farming Anara-that is garden eggs, cassava in a plantation inside the compound. They are still acquiring more lands for more commercial production to equally expand catchment reports,
.
Ikeakor informed that the diocese is doing great in Agriculture, medicare, social work and education but are doing more than anticipated in agriculture as a way to contributing to food security and improving employment. He said the diocese would like to partner more with the state government to enable them employ more hands as part of social responsibility.  He added that their partnership with Anambra Government during Governor Peter Obi’s administration was interesting. He said they are hopeful the Chief Willie Obiano’s administration now would partner with them.
Dame Ikeakor did not stop at opening a piggery that is thriving in Anambra , she went ahead and empowered 50 indigent women into petty traders with empowerment scheme of N10,000 and have been constant with her annual widows Christmas party were widows are taken care of spiritually and otherwise. They smile home with bags of rice, wrappers, and cartoons of tomatoes even scholarship to their children to mention but a few.
Dame Ikeakor’s women ministry is building a gigantic modern hostel they started with N10 million endowment, even though the diocese has spent over N50 Million on it.
Ikeakor after inspecting the farm also dedicated 2 Hummer buses bought by a women group wailing women prayer summit of the diocese of Amichi. They bought and donated to the church for evangelism , publicity and programmes of the church. They were supposed to buy one but brought two for dedication . He presented the families of the women to God asking God to make their children useful and successful for planting in His vineyard. He prayed for serenity and sanity of mind for them to encounter Jesus as well as give their children reasonable marriages.
Manager of the integrated farm, Mrs Ngozi Akosa  was full of praises for the foresight of Bishop Ikeakor in the diocese and asked God for more grace upon him to enable him do more as the little he has done has put foods on the tables of so many families. She said the diocesan farm provides services that are affordable and that the organic manure is equally sold at very affordable prizes.
