APGA Members cautioned on anti party

Members of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in Anambra state were yesterday warned against anti party activities in the forth coming General elections in the country.
They were threatened that anybody caught in such act will be disciplined according to the party’s constitution.
Rising from its meeting in Awka, the party’s stakeholders from Awka North council Area of Anambra state noted that it had identified some members of the party that are still working for some politicians that left APGA for another party and warned such people to desist from that or face disciplinary action.
The traditional ruler of Amansea, Awka North local government, Igwe Kenneth Okonkwo expressed confidence that APGA will win all elective positions in the council area, even as he appealed to the aspirants in various positions who lost out in the primaries to remain calm and work for the party rather than cross carpeting to become a fresher in another party.
The monarch extolled Governor Willie Obiano for developing the area through massive infrastructure which he said suffered gross neglect and marginalization by the previous administrations, adding that the “2015 election is payback time to the Governor who achieved all that in less than one year in office.

“The only way we can show appreciation is to vote President Jonathan for president, Chief Victor Umeh for Senate, Chief Godson Ezenagu for House of Representatives, Awka North and South Federal Constituency and Hon. Boniface Okonkwo for State House of Assembly” he campaigned.

In his remarks, Chief Godson Ezenagu used the opportunity to commiserate with the APGA members from the area who were tear gassed during the party’s primaries and others who sustained various degrees of injuries and assured them that he will not abandon them while
Hon. Boniface Okonkwo thanked the stakeholders for turning out en-mass and promised to put smiles in the faces of Awka North People when elected, revealing that schedule for campaign will soon be released through the ward chairmen and other stakeholders.
