Martina Okereke , Theresa Uzoagba in a testimony like comments were delighted
that Mr Anadume and Lady have not failed in remembering them every year with
assorted gifts and prayed that God will continue to replenish their pockets to
do more for the community.
They recognized that it is an annual ritual which
they have much hope on to celebrate like other families during festivities like
Easter ad Christmas. They said the Anadume’s have clothed them, fed them , empowered
them financially , provided water for them , gave them wrappers and food
suplements to mention but a few. They prayed God to replenish his pockets,
granting them good health and life to assist more families.
In his homily, Reverend Canon Arinze Okafor of Saint
Matthias Anglican Church, Enugu-Akwu , Achi
community said ,’’ what he is doing in his community is unprecedented .
I have not seen this before and most people with the intension as we have seen
are contesting for election or seeking re-election but in this case it is
unconditional love at work.
‘’I have heard a lot but I am seeing it in action
today and I must say he emulated Jesus Christ‘s teachings. He gave hope to a
suffering people and I tell you if more people do these unconditionally the
society would be better off.
But Reverend Isaac Eriegbuo of the Assemblies of God
Church Amaetiti, each year is always unique for the beneficiaries and urged
them to continue to assist the poor and the needy in the society for God will

Oguine said the investment on his people by
Anadume’s is quite emulating , adding that the event was an eye opener for him
as he would start up something no matter how little when he gets back to his
community Amichi.
‘’the good thing about that is that he has no
political ambition and no political undertone but purely on humanitarian
mission to assist his people live a better life. It is purely clarion call to
uplift and encourage people like widows and the less privileged to be merry and
happier than they used to be.
But earlier in their speech, the Umungbu family meeting,
Umueze Enugu Akwu, Achi , said their son , Victor Obi Anadiume and wife Lady U

building mansions , estates and hotels as well as factories , only Victor Obi
Anadiume and wife Lady u used theirs for the betterment of their people more
than anticipated as they have used their wealth for communal good by wiping
sorrows in the eyes of so many families.
The Vice chairman confessed the Anadiume’s have dug
two boreholes for them and have supported many widows and widowers as well as
malnourished children and youths to stand on their own as well as the schools
