Group hails SEMATA President General

 

Traders in the South East Zone of the country have been called upon to contribute their quota in the development and the progress of the market in their states.

The Solid Friends Club of Nigeria, spokesman Chief John Ngwuagu (Akuonyewetalu of Nnobi) made the call while speaking with newsmen in Enugu.

Chief  Ngwuagu who eulogize their Grand Patron and the President General SEMATA,       

Chief Dr. Okwudili Ezenwankwo (Ewepudike na Nnaka) on his effort to transform and unite all markets in the South-East Zone, urged traders to give the unalloy support to their market Boss on his second tenure, to enable him pilot the affairs of the market creditably.

According to him, Traders has expressed confidence that Chief Dr. Okwudili Ezenwankwo will transfer his leadership qualities and experience as SEMATA President General to the General well-being of the market in the zone.

In his word, “The market boss has shown his undiluted effort to reduce the incessant extortion of money and levies by some people to intimidate traders in some major high ways of the country”, he said

In his contribution, the secretary of the club Mr. Chukwudi Nzekwe who gave kudos to SEMATA Boss, enjoined traders in the South-East Zone to ensure that they participate fully in the oncoming 2015 Presidential election and give their total support to President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration.

Mr. Nzekwe also advised traders to shun any act that will tarnished the image of this present leadership of SEMATA, adding that all hands must be on deck to achieve the aims and objective of the SEMATA.

The Club also however commended the amiable Governor Dr. Willie Obiano, in his effort towards the upliftment of the state and urged him not to relent.
