500,000 Man Match for Dozie Nwankwo in Anaocha/Njikoka/Dunkofia Federal Constituency

Igbo Youth Transformation Agenda in collaboration with Anaocha Youths Association is mobilizing a 500,000 man eligible voters in Anaocha/Njikoka/Dunukofia Federal Constituency in support of a Philanthropist cum business tycoon, Mr Dozie Nwankwo’s aspiration to the House of Representatives.

www.odogwublog.com reports that Nwankwo aspiring under the All progressives Grand Alliance (APGA)  to represent Anaocha/Njikoka/Dunukofia federal constituency has been carrying out medical mission for the entire communities in the three local government areas for over six years assisting hundreds of people with free medical care.
The Youths in a statement jointly signed by Raluchukwu Okeke for Igbo Youth transformation Agenda and Ikenna Nwilo for Anaocha Youths Association said they decided to organize the 500,000 man march in the three local government areas as a sign of solidarity for his aspiration as he would represent the interest of the masses.
The youths regretted the campaign of calumny in some quarters against the youth Ambassador by those bent on frustrating his ambition to represent his people at the National Assembly and warned all those fabricating the lies against Dozie Nwankwo to desist from such acts. They said they will mobilize not less than 160,000 people from each local government and the three local government areas would exceed 500,000 people.
  The statement reads in part: ‘We are mobilizing not only youths for the aspiration of Mr Dozie Nwankwo but the women and men especially those with their voters card to mobilize them in protest against the campaign of calumny mounted against Dozie by unknown group.
They said the trust and confidence on Dozie Nwankwo by the youths is unflinching and we hope he wins because he would do better than those who have been there having down Philanthropy with his money for years unwavering.
The youths appealed to APGA leadership to give Dozie Nwankwo a level playing ground as the rumours that he is pitching tent with Governor Rotimi Amaechi to fight President Jonathan was falsehood and should not be believed. They said children have been mobilized to pray for him so that God’s will and wish would happen at the primaries.
‘’Dozie won the 2011 election to represent the Anaocha/Njikoka/Dunukofia Federal Constituency but was denied the opportunity to represent his people and now his aspiration to represent his people in the National Assembly under the All progressives Grand Alliance is being threatened by falsehood and outright lies. We condemn those peddling those rumours and ask them to sincerely stop forthwith as politics is not a do or die affair but a brotherly contest.
‘’ The children are already praying for his victory at the polls and that would show you the kind of person Dozie Nwankwo is. Everybody in our constituency or let us say majority wants him to be the House of Representatives member representing us.
‘’Dozie Nwankwo is the man of the people and we are appealing to the APGA leadership both at the state and National level to allow the choice of the people prevail as all these rumours are just to ensure the strongest candidate for the election is weighed down for his opponents to triumph. 
‘’Whatever they are saying about his has one dimension –to pitch him against the Governor Chief Willie Obiano and President Goodluck Jonathan because Governor Chibuike Amaechi is his in law.  But it would not work. We encourage APGA to give him the chance to prove his victory or otherwise at the congress but if he is humiliated not to fly the flag of APGA , any party he flies the flag is sure at winning the election as he has no contender as far as the election  is concerned.
