Student Beaten To Death In Anambra state University By Suspected Cultists , Two Others Died Of Sickness

There was pandemonium in Anambra state University Uli now known as Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Uli yesterday following the death of a student identified as Kelvin Chukwuebuka from Ihiala in Ihiala local government area of Anambra state.

He was said to be a 200 level student of Physiology or so in the University even though it was not clear as at press time.

Odogwuemekaodogwu.blogspot.com was told that the student was allegedly beaten to death in the bush by members of a cult group. Other sources said he was undergoing initiation and could not bear the beatings and died but nobody knows what to believe.

Another source said three students died as one died after mass beating in the forest , the other two died of sickness , making it three.

This is coming barely two weeks the students did a procession Uzoigwe Stanley Onyekachi , 500 level student of Mechanical Engineering from Orlu in Imo state allegedly shot in a bar by cultists.

The Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof Fidelis Okafor  when contacted did not comment on the issue  as he refused to respond to inquiries in that regards and the line of the PRO Chinwe Nnedum was not connecting as at press time.
