Nwaebili has
dislodged the insinuation that the recent Supreme Court Judgment in favour of
Governor Willie Obiano has “dashed her hope of becoming the Acting Governor of
Anambra State.
Princess Nwaebili who was exchanging views with the Press in Awka, blamed the fallacious statement to rumour mongering and irresponsible journalism; adding that there was no way a house could be divided against itself.
She reiterated her unshakable desire to occupy the Ogbaru Federal House of Representatives seat in view of the enormity of Federal presence needed to be attracted to her area, the agenda which she is irrevocably committed to.

On the recent rumour that Her Excellency, Mrs. Willie Obiano has endorsed her as APGA candidate for the forthcoming House of Representatives election in the area, Mrs. Nwaebili wondered when the wife of the Governor has assumed the position of the party’s officials who conduct primaries and give tickets to deserving candidates?, quoting Governor Obiano to have repeatedly said that “no contestant in the forthcoming election has been given automatic ticket to contest under the platform of APGA—(Chief Victor Umeh has been given, reports Odogwu Media)
She was of the view that elections in Nigeria should not be seen as a do-or-die affair but should be approached with the spirit of sportsmanship or politics without bitterness and rancor.

Princess Nwaebili who acknowledged the exploits of the Governor to garrison the State – security wise, described the recent Supreme Court verdict in favour of the Governor as a good omen to APGA and to the State in general.
Reacting to another speculation that she was at war with her father over the purported chieftaincy title he wanted to confer on the member currently representing Ogbaru Federal Constituency, the Speaker who observed the rapport and fatherly love she enjoys from the father, dismissed the insinuation that the duo will ever be at logger head.
She explained that the only thing that aborted that ceremony was her father’s insistent to postpone the conferment to December to allow for the recent primary/election to be over, challenging the choice of the recipient, now that election is at hand; having disappointed the community in the past when the conferment would have taken place.
According to the Speaker, she is in the race for the House of Representatives seat, knowing full well that she is well equipped with extensive reservoir of experience to attract democracy dividends to her people (Hon Ogene’s seat threatened)
