Anambra Schools Resumed With Ebola Screening Equipment As Governor Obiano Says ‘No Ebola In Anambra ‘

governor, Dr. Willie Obiano.
Public and private
schools in Anambra state today resumed after Governor Willie Obiano’s assurance
that there is no trace of Ebola in Anambra state.
Obiano had earleir directed the the commissioner for
Education , Prof Kate Omenugha to ensure all the over 1000 public and private
secondary schools and over 3,000 public and private primary schools as well as
the hundreds of Nursery schools receive the Ebola testing kits.
Omenugha had met with the teachers when the NUT
insisted they are not resuming without those kits to agree on modalities of
resumption after which they arrived that two teachers would be trained per
school.
That was done and schools reopened today with
students engaging in clearing of the school compound and their classrooms. Details
