Anambra First Lady Commends Bring Back To School Children Initiative In Anambra East Local Government , Tasks On Sustainability

Wife of Governor Willie Obiano ,Anambra state Governor , Chief Mrs Ebelechukwu Obiano yesterday commended the ‘’Back to School Initiative’’ crusade of the Chairperson of the Anambra East local government Area, Mrs. Jennifer Udanoh reports odogwuemekaodogwu.blogspot.com exclusively.

She said the effort will bring back many of the school children who already dropped out early from schools adding that the initiative will also ensure quality education that will improve the standard of the children’s living, capacity building and add to the efforts at achieving the millennium development goals (MDG’s).

    She expressed gratitude on the efforts to sustain interest of children on education by fighting early drop out of children from schools, adding that it is in line with her CAFÉ pet project mission to empower children and rural women and youths as well as orphans and vulnerable children.

Chief Mrs Obiano who spoke at Otuocha headquarters of the local government during the flag off of the back to school project campaign of Mrs Jennifer Udanoh , the first lady of the Anambra East local government area.

Anambra first lady Mrs Obiano  represented by three of her aides , Special Assistant, Women Mobilization  Mrs Cecilia Ezii and Special Assistant, Special Duties Mrs Eyiuche Nwankwo led by her Senior Special Assistant on Protocol, media and Events , Dr (Mrs) Ify Madukasi said the government of Governor Willie Obiano does not want any child out of school hence the initiative is laudable and commendable but charged her to ensure it is followed up to avoid gaps.

She further said:’’ this back to school project initiative is apt and it is an extension of Her Excellency mobilization of people to do their best for the best in order to rob off on the greater majority.  And we are happy that the Obiano’s administration is continuity minded , hence all initiatives would be sustained even after this administration.

‘’Obiano’s wife is projecting women and children and that is what this administration of the Anambra East Chairperson is supporting at the grass root . And because the Governor is from this zone , everything would be put in place to sustain the interest of children who are future leaders in education which is the bedrock of every development and growth’’, she concluded.

On her remarks earlier , the wife of Anambra East local government Chairman , Mrs Jennifer Udanoh expressed gratitude to God for making the scheme a reality and  the wife of the Governor, Chief Mrs Obiano for her   support to the back to school occasion/project.

Mrs Udanoh further thanked her beloved husband, the Executive chairman Anambra East , Hon. Hillary Udanoh for his developmental strides in education sector including the distribution and construction of primary school buildings. e.t.c ; construction of ultra modern stadium for sports and entertainment events in council area and his tremendous support in back to school project.

‘’ It is my pleasure to accord my special thanks to his Excellency Chief Dr. Willie Obiano and her Excellency Chief Mrs. Ebelechukwu Obiano for all their  relentless support in making today a reality.

‘’As you are about to resume home work, maintain good personal hygiene, environmental hygiene, dress code and pay attention to moral instruction as well, and also note that no time is late to go to school but is better to do it at the right age.

Mrs Udanoh said ‘’ It is my mission and vision to carryout  campaign against early school drop out in anambra east, in a way of back to school project/program, which serves as a catalyst to dangers of early school drop out. This back to school educational project is also a way to empower the less privilege children which becomes a panacea for the next generation to emulate in this virtue world.

‘’I must assert that history is made today in Anambra east local government Area in terms of organizing the first annual grass root children empowerment / education program in quote back to school project which has become an edifice for the next generation to carry on. Today’s occasion is a way of demonstrating my commitments and dedication to ensure quality education that will improve the standard of our children’s living, capacity building and millennium development goals.

She charged the children to be obedient and read their books  because education is the key to your future life and with education you can defy or beat all odds in life and as well to be law abiding citizens. She encouraged them also to have the fear of God and keep His commandments, for the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom.
