Chelsea Midfielder, Mikel Obi’s Father Kidnapper Arrested For Another Kidnap; As Government Demolishes Two More Houses

Odogwuemekaodogwu.blogspot.com reports exclusively that Anambra state Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) led by CSP James Nwafor has nabbed the gang responsible for the kidnapping of the father of Chelsea and Nigerian Super Eagles footballer, Mikel Obi.

Odogwuemekaodogwu.blogspot.com reports further that the suspect, Prince Ndubuisi Friday from Nkwoegbu community, Abia state expelled from the Nigerian Army for his involvement in the kidnap of Mikel Obi’s father was caught in another kidnap with his gang.  

Prince Ndubuisi and his gang Ifeanyi Chukwulube alias Mmili , Ibegbunam Morris Kingsley alias Zili and Mohammed Sani were caught after kidnapping Ayika Clement brother to Hon Anyika Valentine of Anambra state House of Assembly.

PPRO, Anambra command, DSP Emeka Chukwuemeka who paraded the suspects said it took special skills of the Anambra police command to be able to unravel the syndicate adding that all those at large were already rounded up at their various locations.

The gang leader, Prince Ndubuisi admitted that he kidnapped Mikel Obi’s father and Anyika before they were rounded up in Lagos by Anambra state police command SARS team led by James Nwafor but said Mikel Obi’s father was a mistake on his part and had only gone on kidnap once after his jail term

‘’ I was dismissed from the Nigerian army in 2011  after I was deceived by some people led by Elvans who said we should come and arrest Mikel Obi’s father but we did not know it was kidnapping . I am a kidnapper but it was only once I went on kidnap after the jail term based on the kidnap of Mikel Obi’s father and I was caught with a bus at Lagos’’, quotes odogwuemekaodogwu.blogspot.com.

Another three suspects Obieze Asomba –armed robber , Ifeanyichukwu Onuchukwu ---a painter and Oliver Ifeanyi ----a car dealer confessed of robbing a medical Doctor with Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital , Nnewi  of her brand new car at gun point before taking it to a painter Ifeanyichukwu and a receiver Oliver.  Obieze said two of his gang members Nkemjika and Eloka were at large initially but have been rounded up by the police.

The kidnappers of late Augustine Igwegbe at Ukpor were also paraded. Augustine from Ebe Ukpor was a relative of the Chief Medical Director Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, Nnewi (NAUTH). Another of his relative who was a member of Vigilante in Ukpor was equally killed two months ago by unknown gun men. They kidnapped and killed him after receiving ransom allegedly. They are Chigbo Anabaraonye, Ifunanya Chideofor , Mbazuluike Ebuka and Agughagwo Geoffrey.

Chukwuemeka informed that other members of the gang that killed the former Commissioner for  Science and Technology , Chief CC Okeke were also nabbed . They are Chisom Okeke and Chigozie Agu. He said Victor Awa was a kidnapper and armed robber caught with Rocket Launcher and Rocket with 50 magazines for AK 47, 300 rounds of 7.62 mm life ammunition even as one Chukwujekwu Nwosu was paraded for alleged armed robbery of motorcycle.

Meanwhile , demolition of the other two houses located in Dusuogu Awkuzu continued today with OC SARS , James Nwafor and his team led by Deputy Commissioner of Police , Olafimihan Adeoye and PPRO Emeka Chukwuemeka and the state government representative/ SA Security to Governor Willie Obiano, Chief Chikodi Anara.
