Odogwuemekaodogwu.blogspot.com reports that the war Between Dubem Obaze and Princess Stella Odua has just begun.  Obaze was honoured last two weeks with pomp and ceremony and today Princess Stella Odua today had earlier held her own reception that was also grand.

Should the two get the tickets of APGA and PDP respectively for Anambra north Senatorial election, the war will be tough even as already Senator Margery Okadigbo sitting prime in the senate now is a bug contender who attracted the Senate President David Mark and top dignitaries today to her country home for an empowerment programe to send a message.

 Dubem did very well as Comm for LG and Chieftaincy matters while Stella performed as Aviation minister despite the politics that led to his sack/resign.

The trend in Anambra State of late is for politicians to go for Chieftaincy titles preparatory to to the 2015 general elections.
Thus any function for conferment of such titles in the state is interpreted by the people as a political function, regardless of the fact that the recipients or organizers of such functions may not intend so.
This new “music” in town may have been ignited by the chieftaincy title conferred on the former minister of aviation, Stella Oduah,by traditional rulers in her community in Ogbaru Local Government Area of Anambra State.
Oduah is said to be eyeing the Anambra North Senatorial District Seat on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
The Special Adviser to President Jonathan, Chief Ndi Ben Obi, chaired the Oduah occasion which took place early June.
Though notable politicians did not attend the function the occasion, it created the desired impact in the sleepy agrarian riverine area of the Ogbaru clan; if not for anything.the School of Aeronautic Engineering of the Federal Polytechnic Oko, Ogbaru Campus, was commissioned that day by the former Aviation boss hersef and the people were visibly happy for it.
Twenty-one days after the Oduah function, the traditional rulers of the Anambra North Senatorial Zone led by the Obi of Onitsha, Igwe Alfred Nnameka Achebe, organized a reception/conferment of Chieftaincy title on Dubem Obaze, a former commissioner for Local Government in the Obi administration.

The occasion which was chaired by oil mogul, Sir Emeka Offor, witnessed prominent politicians from across the country, among them were former Senator President, Ken. Nnamani, Immediate Past Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi, the governorship candidate of the Labour Party in the Anambra 2013 governorship election and an array of legislators in both the National Assembly and the State's House of Assembly
Speaking on the occasion, Obi described the recognition on his former Commissioner as an award well deserved.
He tasked those in authority to always use their position to better humanity.
Expressing his joy on the occasion, Obaze said the recognition by his people would serve as a tonic that would spur him to continue to serve mankind.
