Obiano therefore called for peace and unity amongst all the contenders for the post of the Vice Chancellorship at the institution and pursue their interests peacefully.

The Governor made the urge weekend during a symposium organized by the students led by President of the Students Union Government, Ibe Chukwunonso Siko.

odogwuemekaodogwu.com reports that the governor who was ably represented by his Special Adviser on Youth Empowerment, Hon. Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim said, “There must always be a winner in a contest”, and appealed to the
students not to allow themselves to be used by individuals or group.

According to him, “there was a speculation that a demonstration would have been carried out on Friday but for my quick intervention.”

The Governor stressed the need to have data base of the number of youths in the state hinting that to achieve this, “ this
week there will be a data base of the number of youths“.

He said, “we are not doing it to track you down even if you commit any crimes nobody is going to impose anything on you, just be law abiding, UNIZIK is a very good school”.

fight to eradicate it from the country and Africa as a whole.

In her lecture, the Coordinator of Centenary Social Media Platforms, Angela Onuko Nmoh, stressed the need for all hands to be on desk for employment opportunities adding that the more the population the more industrial production only if the populace would engage themselves in meaningful projects.
