as springboard for unity and cohesion in APGA.
Chief Obaze, a BOT member of APGA, who was speaking in reaction to the judgment to
newsmen in Awka, today said the unanimous decision of the appellate court
has demonstrated that the judiciary has a pivotal role to play in
strengthening our democracy, stressing, that the judgment has restored the
people’s confidence in the judicial system.
He said the judgment has now given the Anambra State

adding that henceforth the people’s confidence in voting Chief Obiano cannot be
misplaced, because it is the victory for the people.

this judgement.
He therefore urged the entire APGA members to close ranks
and forged ahead to reposition the party to enhance it’s electoral for fortune
in next year’s general election.
While appealing for unity and cohesion in the party, Chief
Obaze enjoined the APGA splinter group to join hands together with Chief Umeh
to strengthen the Party and reposition it as a strong and virile political
party that can win election, any day anywhere in the country.
He however implored Chief Umeh to be magnanimous in victory
by accommodating all groups irrespective of leanings saying that only by so
doing that everybody could be fully integrated and assured that there will be
no victor no vanquished in affairs of the party.
