Jonathan , Tambuwal Urge Nigerians Especially Muslims To Pray For Peace , Say Nigeria Will Overcome Terrorism
odogwuemekaodogwu.com reports that as Muslims begin their holy month of Ramadan, President Goodluck Jonathan, today tasked them to imbibe the virtues of piety, tolerance and fairness to all.
This was contained in a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Dr. Reuben Abati.
He equally urged Nigerians not to succumb to despair, but to remain steadfast in the firm conviction that with courage, determination, focus, decisiveness and collective support for the Armed Forces and security agencies, the country will ultimately overcome the evil agents of sectionalism, sectarianism and international terrorism who seek to disunite the nation.

also reports that Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon Aminu Waziri
Tambuwal, has urged Muslims to use the period of the Holy month of Ramadan to
pray for the country, and to rededicate themselves to the service of God and
humanity.
In a statement to
commemorate the start of the Islamic fasting of Ramadan issued by his Special
Adviser on Media and Public Affairs, Malam Imam Imam, Tambuwal said with
prayers, the country would overcome the current security challenges facing it.
He said the Holy
month provides opportunity for increased worship, making of peace,
strengthening of ties and doing away with bad habits. "We must all seize
these opportunities for the betterment of ourselves, our families and our
nation," he added.
