Marriage Of Unbroken Calabash Between Reverend Benjamin Chibuike Chijioke And Princess Blessing Chioma Akata Excites Community

Priests often are not associated with expressing their elation over issues especially when it concerns their personal life , but that was not the case with Reverend Benjamin Chibuike Chijioke when he walked down his princess Blessing Chioma Akata to the aisle recently. Odogwu Emeka Odogwu witnessed the solemnization of Holy Matrimony and reports.

Thousands of Anglican faithful thronged to St Lawrence’s Anglican Church , Mbaukwu Awka South local government area venue of the wedding ceremony in their numbers.  Priests in their ranks and files came from near and far to honour one of heir own.
The Mbaukwu community was thrilled by the large turn out of people to grace the occasion even as people were more perplexed by the testimonies of the couple on themselves.
Before 11 am , the  officiating Priest and Bishop in charge of Awka Anglican diocese ,His Lordship. Rt. Revd. Alexander Ibezim (PhD) arrived with his amiable wife Mrs Chioma Ibezim (Mama Awka) . They were not alone as he was accompanied respectful Clergymen outside and within Awka Diocese even though he did not actually come in a convoy like with them , their arrival signified that they were all time conscious.
From the wedding church service to the Photograph session as well the reception was spectacular in line with Priesthood and sparkingling colours only the initiated will understand. For every space , there were people on special colours even as cassock was running riot.

Bishop Ikeakor charged the couple to continue to be exemplary and unique in al ramifications  having set a pace unequalled among Christians of today, adding that they should make Jesus Christ the foundation of their home to enable them direct the flock of God aright.
He reminded them that a house divided unto itself shall not stand hence their family should always be together and prayerful , requesting for God’s guidance and protection on the young family. He further enjoined them to love themselves in submissiveness with humility and tolerance at all times.

In a unique rendition of appreciation to the witnesses to the wedding, Reverend Chijioke announced ,’’ I met my love in her home town Nise, in Awka South Local Government Area. She is an innocent maiden born when her mates were and tutored by her Grandmother.  Her honest altitude, Christian discipline and beauty become my centre of attraction.
‘’My attraction led to seeking her hands in marriage without knowing that, I am one among numerous suitors.  When I was made to understand this, in my simple altitude, I demand for her word in order to accept my fate but she pleaded for time to pray prayers. I thought that the prayer is to be in a month’s time, I never knew she had litany to say. Over a year, her litany is yet to be done, but she was able to keep me by her confession and my affection for her. She will always confess, “You are true minister of God and your heavenly focus is my wish if God permits, I will be glad to settle with you”.
‘’Thank God here we are and Blessing is my wife. I am happy as much as she is. I got her fresh and original. I have not been in love or engaged in love till I found her. It’s our pleasure enjoying each other. She is quite decent to my liking. Under God I bless the womb that gave her birth and all that let her in marriage to me,’’ he concluded.
For his wife, Blessing, it was like a dream come through as she was skeptical of men seeking for her hands in marriage and blessed God for granting her, her heart desire.
‘’God gave him to me and I pray that I will be able to continue to meet his expectation in as a friend, sister and wife, so that God will be glorified in all situations.
