Ohaneze Blasts Nwabueze, Okorocha Over Comments

                                         

The apex Igbo ruling body, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Anambra State branch, yesterday in Onitsha, blasted the revered constitutional lawyer, Prof. Ben Nwabueze, for allegedly accusing Ohanaeze of being engulfed in crisis even at it accused Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State of working against All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, Igbo party.

State chairman of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief Chris Eluemuno advised Nwabueze to quit Ohanaeze Ndigbo and stop criticizing the body stating that Ohanaeze remains united.

According to him the only time Ohanaeze had a case was during the era of its former president, Chief Ralph Uwachue, in 2011.

He said the incumbent president, Chief Gari Igariwey has not witnessed any crisis as alleged by Nwabueze even as he urged him to guide his mouth against what he said on Ohanaeze.

His words: “as the chairman of Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Anambra State where Prof Nwabueze comes from, I will not keep quiet and allow Nwabueze to mess up the only Igbo apex organization”.

He described Okorocha as a prodigal son who will not go far on All Progressive Congress, APC.

He urged him to return to APGA where the Igbo belong and stop arrogating to himself Igbo leader stating that he cannot be and that he should trace his root well.
