The meeting between the lecturers and the federal government ended in a deadlock.
It could be recalled that the ASUP has been on strike since October 1 demanding among others better working condition, infrastructure improvement, and an end to discrimination of polytechnic graduates.
Minister of Labour, Chukwuemeka Wogu who led the FG delegation could not reach a truce with the Polytechnic teachers.
Polytechnic students remain at home
