Imo state , Mr Chidi Nkwokpara traced Nneji’s long term desire to make Imo
state better by his actions and inactions and said if he emerges candidate of

Imo State, adding that time has come for the elites to take active part in

is being sponsored by the Imo state Governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha. He added
that he has the capacity to run his moderate ambition to deliver Imo state.
Meanwhile, Mr. Frank Nneji has obtained his nomination
and expression of interest form at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja.
“My focus is on the economy of the state. For many
years no government has been able to focus on the economy of Imo. We have quite
a lot of unemployed people in the state. Of course Imo state is one of the
states with high literacy level, having many people coming out from school
every year. You need to cater for this people. We have a beautiful central
location that could make Imo state the commercial hub to South South and South
East region but no government in the past has been able to take advantage of
that. This is what my government would focus on in 2019” he said.
He expressed optimism that despite the number of
people in the race for Imo governorship in APGA platform, he would emerge the
flag bearer if the party at the general election.
