www.odogwublog.com reporter Joseph Egbeocha reports that Abba community in Njikoka local government area of Anambra State has been enlisted among communities that
have benefitted from the Obiano administration's program of electrifying
all tarred roads in the state, yet that was not the true position.
Unconfirmed report claims the street light begins from Oye-Agu Abagana
and stops very close to Abba-Awkuzu boundary, fueling speculations that
Governor Willie Obiano was merely trying to give his friend and late Chairman of
ANSIPPA, Chief Joebilly Ekwunife, a befitting burial, hence the hurried
action and short distance nature of the project.
It was gathered that
the late ANSIPPA boss will be buried late October this year.
A community leader, Hon. Pius Ezeoke, however thanked Governor Obiano for
"the work well done", urging him to "use his good offices and direct the
contractor to return the two poles" he claimed "was uprooted by the engineer
with crane and went away without any explanation".
