The senate president, Dr. Bukola Saraki, Wednesday
visited the home of ex-president Goodluck Jonathan.
His reason for the meeting is not yet known but it
would not be unconnected to his purported presidential ambition.
Recall that
since Saraki’s defection to the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), he had visited
the former president Olusegun Obasanjo and ex-military head of state Ibrahim
Babaginda.
PDP lawmakers were among those that accompanied him to
meet with Jonathan today.
