Dumped 6-months old baby rescued from Anambra bush
www.odogwublog.com reports that a 6-months old baby has been rescued from a bush along
Idemili junction road, Obosi, in Idemili local government area of
Anambra state.
The baby, reportedly found abandoned in a bush was rescued around 6am by one Duff Ibanga of Umuota village in the community.
The rescuer said he was attracted by the cry of the baby while passing through that way.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Haruna
Mohammed, who confirmed the report, said the baby has been handed over
to the motherless babies home for safe keeping.
"On the 10/8/2018 at about 0600hrs, one Duff Ibanga male of
Umuota Village Obosi brought to Obosi division a Six months old baby
alleged to have been abandoned in a bush along Idemili junction road
Obosi.
"Scene was visited by Police detectives attached to juvenile and welfare unit of the division.
"The case is under investigation to ascertain circumstances surrounding the incident and effort is ongoing to trace the biological mother of the baby," he said.

Mohammed urged members of the public with useful
information that could help trace the parent of the child to report at
Obosi division or call the Police emergency number 07039194332.
